Victim of his own anger, The Kid (Prince) is a minneapolis musician in the rise with his band The Revolution, fleeing from tumultuous domestic life through music. While trying to avoid the same mistakes as his rude father (Clarence Williams III), the child turns around the club’s scene and rock relationships with a compelling singer – Apollonia (Apollonia Kototeria). But another musician, Morris (Maurice Day), seems to steal the children’s spotlight – and his girlfriend.
